Design Intern (Part-Time, Paid)

Job Overview: We are seeking hungry, creative design interns to join our team!

This person should be growth mindset oriented; that will be the most important attribute. As a design intern, you will work closely with our design team (Director of Design, Creative Director) to support various design projects across the company. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design industry and build your portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with designing and creating visual assets, such as marketing materials, social media graphics, and website layouts.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and execute design concepts for various projects, taking ideas from 0-75%, then helping the design crew to push it over the finish line.
• Conduct research and learn about Bitcoin, design trends, and best practices to inform design decisions.
• Help maintain and organize the design team’s files, design systems, and assets.
• Participate in design critiques and provide feedback on design projects.
• Complete other design-related tasks as assigned, including but not limited to;
• Blog, social media, and slide deck/docs imagery.
• Graphic designs for print, advertising, and swag.
• Learn our illustration design style; under direction of the Creative Director.
• This will be used to help with artwork creation and explorations.
• Creating divergent designs for our product and marketing design efforts.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; stays engaged and actively checks in.
• Has experience sketching & wireframing to share ideas early.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and able to produce work in a deadline oriented manner.
• Not afraid to ask questions to get better, faster.

Bonus qualifications:

If you have experience in any of the following areas, these make you stand out:

• You can illustrate; or have solid fundamentals in drawing/sketching.
• Knowledge of basic animation principles.
• Experience with website design and development. (HTML, CSS, WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools. (Figma prototyping)
• Understanding of branding and marketing strategies.
• Experience with Midjourney AI or DALL-E AI image generation tools.

Duration: This is a part-time, paid internship that will run for approximately 10 weeks with potential for longer-term or permanent employment.
