Ethereum Integration Engineer (Remote)

We see a future where all banks will need to support digital assets and provide a responsive, online interface to tech-savvy customers. Custodia is already a chartered bank, and we are building toward our launch as a US dollar clearing bank that provides custody services for bitcoin and other digital assets. Our flagship product will be a bank-issued digital dollar, allowing for faster, cheaper, and programmable U.S. dollar transactions. Our founders have deep experience in both bitcoin and traditional financial services.

You will work on:

• Designing, extending and maintaining our Ethereum block/log processor and indexer
• Deposit and withdrawal workflows
• Avit smart contract development
• Ethereum node configuration and testing
• Implementing support for ERC20 tokens
• Building out gas replenishment, nonce-bumping, sweep handling workflows

We’re looking for someone with:

• Extensive experience across the web3 stack (Ethereum, Solidity, ethers.js, etc) and the Ethereum ecosystem
• Prior experience with implementing Ethereum indexers and log processors
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information
• Understands the importance of unit & end-to-end testing
• Understands the importance of communication and collaboration for building great software
• Remote work experience

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Python
• Django REST Framework
• Open source contributions to Ethereum-related projects
• CI/CD pipelines
• Containers
• Bitcoin or other relevant cryptocurrency knowledge

Our engineering team includes:

• A remotely distributed team with a strong communication and planning process
• Digital asset developers, including Bitcoin Core contributors
• Financial Exchange developers, including derivatives markets platform developers
• UX developers, including former GoDaddy design system lead

Salary Range

Up to 180,000 DOE
