Founding Engineer

About Us: Mobo is the creator-centric software platform that empowers NFT artists, creators, and brands to have full control over their creations and their story. We are building the software that helps creators manage and grow their web3 business. Currently we provide artists with their own branded storefront, bio site, analytics reports, and (coming soon) tools, but our ambitions are much larger. We think long-term and put our customers ahead of short-term profit margins.

About the Founding Engineer role: I am looking for a highly intelligent, driven, and passionate engineer to join me on our mission to empower creators. This will be the first full-time employee and, depending on experience and commitment, could be considered a co-founder. Our current stack consists of React, Vercel/Next.Js, Typescript, and Mongo, but I will be looking for the person who takes this role to make the appropriate decisions on our stack given both short and long-term.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our customers to determine their pain points and determine how we can help
• Take ownership over our technical architecture and stack
• Work closely with design to raise the bar on customer experience
• Lead hiring & developing additional engineers

About You

• You care deeply about customer experience and enjoy interacting with customers
• You are passionate about helping web3 creators and about the potential of NFTs
• You are excellent at dealing with ambiguity and thrive with autonomous decision-making
• You move fast but think long-term
• You want to win.

Skills and qualifications:

• You have 3+ years of experience building products with exceptional customer experience
• Experience building modern scalable backends and ability to set the direction of our infrastructure
• You have experience defining component driven and service oriented architectural systems
• Experience with web3 such as products integrations with wallets & smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchains

Compensation is dependent on experience/skills but will include salary + healthy equity package + benefits.
