Product Designer (Remote)

TX Labs builds products and services for a decentralized internet. One of our projects is Blockless, a platform that provides infrastructural web services to developers and monetary rewards to people who contribute computing resources to our decentralized global network.

Job Role

The product designer will create user experiences for the Blockless product offerings. They will have strong communication skills as the position requires working closely with other designers, engineering, and product management. Reading and writing skills are essential for a globally distributed team working asynchronously.

Responsibilities of this position also include: creating detailed interaction specs; preparing visual assets for use in a variety of platforms: engineering implementation, web use, and presentations; ensuring design consistency across all assets and products.

Above all, the role requires an individual with a high design aesthetic standard and dedication to crafting the optimal human interaction design.

• Creative and resourceful
• Rigorous attention to detail
• A deep systems thinker, able to optimize complex information architecture
• Proficiency in the formal elements of design, including typography and layout
• Enjoys improving existing patterns and finding innovative solutions for new features and use cases
• Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with developer tools, especially web services
• Mastery of Figma
• The versatility of designing for different human interfaces such as the web, desktop apps, and command line interfaces
• Experience working across multiple projects at once
• Background or interest in prototyping
