React Developer

Summary

We are seeking a front-end developer with experience with React and NextJS. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver front-end components of our cloud database platform.

As a Fluree front-end developer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code using React and NextJS. Your duties will include designing software solutions to meet project requirements, maintaining and refactoring existing code, writing tests, and fixing bugs.

React Developer Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Development of new user-facing features using React
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Communicate with team members to coordinate development efforts
• Ensure code quality and standards compliance

React Developer Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React and its core principles
• Experience with NextJS
• Familiarity with backend APIs (i.e., GraphQL)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with Tailwind
• Experience with cloud databases like MongoDB, Firebase, DynamoDB, etc., is a plus
• Familiarity with semantic and linked-data standards (e.g., RDF, JSON-LD) is a plus

React Developer Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience
