Senior Data Analyst

About the Team

You will be part of the strategy team, where you will help to support internal and external reporting needs as well as presenting data in dashboards. You will need to query large data, then use various statistical techniques to interpret the results in order to provide insights to improve our business operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This role will work under Strategy & Investor Relation team which will be responsible in handling internal and external reporting needs.

What you’ll do

• Create communication and collaboration with stakeholders to enrich knowledge to solve problems
• Interpret data, analyse results and present them in a clear and concise format for key leaders to understand operating performance
• Set analytics goals based on the established success criteria
• Collecting, compiling and designing information & data requirements related to certain task/project needs
• Establish required internal and external data sources as well as data availability and accessibility for moderate-scale projects
• Executing exploratory data analysis, including identifying missing data, outliers and feature selection
• Understanding of business requirements and constraints including potential trade-offs between speed and accuracy
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Translate analytics output into clear and actionable insight, and give advice or recommendation based on the insights generated by the analysis.
• Providing regular metrics updates and business performance for various stakeholders.
• Able to manage moderate-scale projects and assist the lead of data analyst in management of large-scale or multi-stage projects.
• Documenting analytics and business requirements related to assigned tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor Degree, in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Minimum 2 years experience as Data Analyst
• Proficient in one of database languages (PostgreSQL, MySQL, PrestoSQL, etc.)
• Proficient in R or python
• Have a knowledge on measuring a structured and unstructured variable
• Have a knowledge on basic statistics
• Have experience in using BigQuery, Tableau or any data platform is a plus
• Have experience in leading a project is a plus
• Experience in banking or lending businesses will be a huge plus
