Senior Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with rudimentary UX and UI skills to help design, prototype, and implement user-facing apps at Scroll. You will design and develop our web applications for bridge and wallet integrations, and also work on developer documentation websites and our homepage.

Your day-to-day work will involve prototype design and engaging with designers. You will implement websites and web applications in modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React. You will also build and improve scalable backends with web services that ensure a smooth user experiences. Finally, you will implement tracking of metrics in order to optimise user engagement.

Job Duties

• Design, prototype, and develop websites, incl. basic UX and UI design.
• Design and implement backends with scalable web services.
• Define and implement metrics tracking for user engagement and business development purposes.
• Leverage human-centered design processes to deliver easy-to-use user interfaces and experience.
• Develop and implement usability testing.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as full-stack engineer.
• Strong experience in building web applications.
• Some experience in UX and UI design and prototyping.
• Advanced knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, or React.
• High proficiency in backend languages and frameworks such as Node, Ruby on Rails, Nginx, or similar systems.
• Some proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Some knowledge of wireframing/prototyping tools such as Balsamiq or Sketch.
• Some knowledge of UX design tools such as Figma, Axure, or InVision.
• Note: Prior experience in building web3 user interfaces is nice-to-have but not required.
