User Researcher

We are looking for a User Researcher to join our awesome Product team! You’ll be playing a crucial role in understanding and addressing the challenges faced by our users within the token space. Through the application of various research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests, you will collect and analyse relevant information to extract valuable insights. Collaborating closely with the product team, you will translate these insights into actionable recommendations, bridging the gap between user needs and product development. Your expertise will contribute to the improvement of our product, ensuring that it effectively addresses the identified user problems and maintains the needs and expectations of our users.
To help you best prepare, we’ve outlined the interview process for this role, we aim to have this process completed within 3 weeks:
- 30 minute google meet with someone from our Talent Team
- 1 hour google meet for a portfolio review with our CPO
- 1 hour google meet call to meet some of the team
- Final 1 hour google meet with our CPO to answer any final questions
Requirements
About you:
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll have 3 + years experience within User Research, preferably in a customer facing product.
- You’ll have the ability to identify key problems users face in the relevant space, translating insights into actionable tasks.
- You’ll be excited to get involved in all areas of the Product life cycle.
- You’ll have hands-on experience conducting exploratory and evaluative research projects, including deep usability research.
- Previous experience working in a cross-functional team.
- You have solid proficiency in qualitative methodologies.
- You can be flexible in the way that you work!
- You have experience in emerging markets
- You’ve got experience studying users’ interactions, feedback, and challenges, and provide valuable data that helps improve the overall user experience and ensure that products are designed with users in mind.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct research using various methods (interviews, surveys, usability tests, ethnographic studies) to gather user insights and feedback.
- Analyse research data to identify patterns, trends, and user preferences, extracting actionable insights for product improvements.
- Create user personas and map user journeys to understand the user experience and identify areas for enhancement.
- Organise and conduct usability testing sessions, gathering user feedback and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate user needs into product decisions and align research findings with business goals.
- Present research findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualisations, and maintain documentation.
- Stay updated with research techniques, industry trends, and user behaviours for ongoing improvement efforts.
